5 Week fitness Plan

My fitness goal was to dead lift 300lb

Week 1: 5reps 225lb 5sets

Week 2: 5reps 235lb 5sets

Week 3: 5reps 245lb 5sets

Week 4: 5reps 255lb 5sets

Week 5: 5reps 265lb 5sets

I found a program that would increase size and strength and it really did help me. I couldn't reach my goal because my goal was a little higher then the time i was given but i increased my dead lift by 30lbs. I also ate clean and had a good nights rest always so my muscle recovery was good. Meal plan was good, always tried to eat clean and lots of it and always at fresh foods. Had my post workout shakes that helped reach my goal like creatine and protein.

Goldstone PE Project Final Reflection

PE leaders -
1.  What adjustments and improvements did you make in your lessons (structure, activities, organization, instructions) from the first lesson to the last one?
Our first time, we didn't know what we were doing because none of us really had a fully understanding as teaching children before. But over the following weeks we stepped our game up and our setting up and organization got soo much better. The activities we had set up for the kids they all enjoyed and our classmates enjoyed them so much to that they started using our ideas as some of theirs. The instructions in my opinion were demonstrated and understood very good, if there were any questions we were always there to help them out and make sure they understood and that they could enjoy the game.

2.  What was the biggest challenge for your group?  For you?
In my opinion the biggest challenge was finding out who wanted to do what and sometimes I had to step up to the plate and take charge and I was okay with that and so were my group members. But as a group we worked hard to make sure the kids had a smile every time they left the gym.

3.  Describe your favourite moment as a leader and explain why.
Taking charge and explaining our activities and see the kids faces because they were so excited to play, or try what we had set up for them. Also seeing how much fun they were having trying to beat there friends in the relays we set up in the beginning of the week.

4. What do you still need to work on?  What improvements would you make if you were continuing teaching for another month?
Getting the kids attention, regret getting my whistle earlier, because that helped a lot to get there attentions.

PE Buddies -
1.  What are some of the things that you learned being a PE buddy?
Better leadership skills, the kids were looking up to us and had to show a good leadership skill because they all learn from what they see and a strong first impression is always good

2.  Did your comfort level change over the course of the month?  Why or why not?
Yes it did, I got closer with the class we were teaching some kids were happy to see me and my group.

3.  What was your favourite part of being a buddy?  Be specific.

Seeing the kids faces when they were having so much fun enjoying all the games we had set up for them, they were always involved, and no one was ever left out, everyone was just happy always to see the big kids from the high school.

In conclusion -
Rate the following:

Your group -

Interesting Digestion Post

Stomach rumbling can happen at any time, not just when you're hungry.

Borborygmi, or stomach rumblings, happens when peristalsis in the stomach and small intestines, happens when digestion of food, fluid and gases pass through the gastrointestinal tract. When the tract is empty, Borborygmi are louder because there's nothing in there to prevent the sound.
I question is why are your muscles making noises there's no food in the stomach?
After the stomach empties its contents into the small intestine, it sends signals to the brain. The brain tells the digestive muscles to commence peristalsis. The muscle contractions to make sure no food was left in the stomach, and then the growls signal to you that your body needs food.

Grouse Grind

I didn't attend the grouse grind as a class, but I had done one a while ago as a child and I remember it was really hard, I tried to run up really fast and got tired and ended up walking the whole thing because I got tired and plus I stayed close to my family and they arnt the running type. The day we went was a hot summer day and it was a real big challenge because it was so hot and my legs where killing me, I felt so tired and when I finished that I slept back the whole way back. If I try the grouse grind now, it would be such a different experience. I hope to try it again one day and see how it goes.

Truth about Roids

Women end up like men. False, women that take steroids are different from the one that men take so they prevent any man features from happening, but women can get deeper voices and hair growth in many places where they didn't want want them. side affects are more when it comes to girls then boys.

Oral better than needles. False, they are bad for your body any way, you still damage your liver, cause the steroids still have to go threw your liver and cause a lot of damage.

Penis will shrink. False, testicals can shrink but will grow back to normal after a cycle, but takes time.

Steroids can not stunt growth, proof from Arnold, admitted taking rounds at a young age and said did not stunt his growth. No proof behind it anyway.

Kidney Stones

Pictures of Kidney and Kidney Stone
Kidney stones are small, hard stone type material that form inside your kidneys. The stones are made of mineral and acid salts. Kidney stones can affect any part of your urinary tract from your kidneys to your bladder. Often, stones form when the urine becomes pure, allowing minerals to crystallize and stick together.
Kidney stones can be painful, but the stones usually cause no permanent damage. Depending on your situation, you may only need some pain medication and to drink lots of water to pass the kidney stone. In other instances, surgery may be needed. Your doctor may recommend preventive treatment to reduce your risk of recurrent kidney stones if you have a high risk to get them again.

Kidney stones can be caused when people taking creatine and not drinking enough water.

Questions
1) The bond Found between amino acid is Peptide bond.

2) The secondary structure is formed between the amino acid, this causes the chain to twist.

3)  It is due to the interactions between R groups, convalent bonds, it bonds, repulsion. It depends on primary structure in the a.a sequence. My protein was different because of the letters.

4) Two or more polypeptides stick together.

5) the bonds between amino acids would be the same, but the interactions  between R groups / side chains would be different because of different placement of amino acids.

Colon Cancer

The Sunnybrook colon cancer was great, and a horrifying experience. I couldn't watch the video for to long because it go very disturbing, for instance, I wouldn't have believed that they used staples and sewing string for surgery. I was shocked at how surgeons are able to withstand the terror and be so precise and accurate in there surgeries. The worst part for me was when they finally removed the colon, it was so large and to only imagine that the small intestine is several times larger is mind blowing! Overall this was a great learning tool and really helped me understand what we've been going over in class due to all the questions they answered on there twitter.
